Hulangala is located in Matale District, Sri Lanka.Selagama Mini World’s End is a beautiful destination in the border of Kurunegala and Matale districts.This a very beautiful place with a huge natural attraction and also a climate closer to Kandy.

Hulangala Punchi Lokantha is located at the southern end of theKnuckles Range in the Salagama Estate and can be reached from Kurunegala or Matale.From Kurunegala, travel towards Dambulla up to Thalgodapitiya Junction and turn to Yatawatta road.

The total distance is about 40km. To travel form Matale, you need to turn off at Palathwela to reach Yatawatta.From Yatawatta, take the road towards Selagama estate. At the estate entrance, you are charged Rs 250 for a vehicle.From the line houses of Selagama estate, you can hike for 2-3 km to reach the view point.However motor bikes, 3 wheelers and 4×4 vehicles can go right up to the view point.Little World is located at an altitude of 760 meters (2500 feet) above sea level. However, Mount Hulangala rises to 1,025 meters (3,360 ft).

 

Another experience you will get on this trip is the,You can also make a visit to the waterfall which also lies with the Selagama estate.That waterfall is called "Yatawatta Biso Falls".To reach the waterfall, you will need to turn right from the line of houses of the estate and go up to the Yatawatta Hindu Temple  and walk across some paddy fields to reach the top of the waterfall.
